Not a good pet

Before saying anything I should apologize for not replying to comments and faves a lot...

So anyway I wanted to illustrate that character instead of trying to explain how exatly he looks like and that's how the pic started.
His species live in an overall dead world where the only sources of energy are huge, glowing, slightly unappropriate looking tree-like structures. All of them have grown from the roots of an enormous tree of life, for lack of better terms. It's uncertain how these giant organisms function but the only way anything with a soul could exist is within a certain radius of them. Outside, in the wasteland, all living force is being slowly drained into the desert ground. So whether the inhabitants of this dimention decide to leave it and enter another plane, they must be careful, for when they return (or are banished back here), someone might have taken over their fortress. This is the reason this particular race of demon to be encountered not so often in other worlds. Usually when they leave this plane, it's because they're desperate for living energy. If they run out of it, they'll fall into a state in which their essence is all that's left of them, in the shape of their skull. An infinite time may pass before living energy enters this prison and the creature is shaped again. Actually some of these desert-dwellers scavage the borders of their territory (which they constantly fight for) to collect the skulls of those who didn't make it and then sell them in the mortal realm for power. A knowing summoner can nurture back to life and enslave the demon, but this is not a good idea unless the summoner's very powerful.

So this guy here, he's called Ostrazkas, nicknamed "Grinning". One would often ask why 'Grinning" unless they meet him in person.
The only reason our rpg pary saw him was because Lertih got one of those watches that can show the time, date, position of celestial bodies, world map of all existing worlds, and camera view of any creature you're interested in seeing. So they began looking at stuff for fun and Kurkach said he wants to see what's going on back in his parents' village, and when they saw it's just been burnt down and devoured by zombies Lertih said they could then see how his *other* parent's doing instead. Lertih suggested that Kurkach's dad just killed and ate Kurkach's mom and everyone else and burnt their village. Everyone agreed cause Lertih had brainwashed them to think he's always right cause he's so wise. That didn't explain the zombies though, but Lertih's, after all, so smart, he must be right. no?
Despite the "always chaotic evil" tag, Kurkach's dad seems to be more of "badass" than "evil". Surviving eadly natural hazards by ripping people's lifeforce doesn't make you THAT bad does it...
