MaybeI should call this series "draw one thing in many, though similar ways"
It's because some things like him have so many layers of different aspects that every time I draw it I miss some of them. It's impossible to show everything in one place Well anyway this in painted over a 5-minute colour pencil scribble... depicting how he may appear to a stranger in an unlikely place. To different people and creatures he, of course, appears differently. Different people notice different sides of things, and depending on where and how the things are seen they tend to look completely different. So to some he's just some guy with bonus limbs, to other it's an invisible presence whose from they don't know (the reason for him having the skill of making them not being able to process his image through their brains is very long to explain), for third he's like a canary gone bad, for others- "That person... thing... guy over there, can't you see him? Whaddyamean it's only a brick wall?! He's even looking our way now... hey where'd he go?!" And not least, "looks like some kind of occult thing to me..." I liked how this view turned out EDIT: here's the sketch (about 1/3 of an A4 sheet of paper) [link] |
